Colorado Communities Corporation, a Dave Brown family company, purchased Echo Canyon Ranch in 1996. Dave relates, "Numerous improvements have occurred and will continue to occur each year."

In recent years the ranch has witnessed the completion of the Pine Cabin, with breathtaking balcony views up and down the entire canyon. It has a spacious living room, two bedrooms downstairs and a master suite loft with its own bathroom.

This new three-bedroom cabin addition joins our two other cabins in the woods, with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, plus hide-a-beds in the living rooms.

We have also added six new accommodations overlooking Echo Pond and sitting on the banks of Echo Creek with all new furnishings. You can be lulled to sleep by the quiet bubbling creek in front of your door.

The most extensive new addition to Echo Canyon Ranch was the purchase of the 500-acre Huestes Canyon, which adjoins our existing ranch, with the most dramatic dike in the entire Devil Stairsteps. It rises 500 feet out of the ground for you to view as you ride beside it. This acquisition affords our guests a new area to gather cattle, have lunch around the chuck wagon and ride the mountain trails. It is designated as a “Conservation Trust Area”, which means no one will ever build on this site.

Our other activities include archery, gold prospecting, skeet shooting, and nature walks, which is in addition to our existing programs of daily horseback riding, entertainment, cattle drives, roping lessons, hay rides, fishing lessons, working cattle in the pen, plus the offsite activities of river rafting and golf.

Our ranch wall displays plaques of all the people who have returned 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 years to our ranch. These plaques represent the best endorsement we could ever receive considering we have only been open 7 years with many people returning all 7 years in a row.
